I have confidence in my products and service, enough that I do not need to charge for an unnecessary support package, as the proof of the products is in the day to day use. 

As a one man business, much of my custom relies on repeat business. By building an on-going working relationship, I will discuss and offer advice on how changes to current products or the introduction of a new product, may satisfy your changing requirements.

For a number of projects I would simply supply the finished product and allow you to use it for an agreed period, to ensure the product meets your expectations, before expecting a sign-off. 

The only further charges to be added to the initial product purchase price would be for further developments based on additions or amendments to your original requirements, or for on-going maintenance at your request.
 

An example of amendments is a database that requires new functionality such as additional reports.

 

An example of on-going maintenance is a WEB site that requires periodic updating with new information, such as one that incorporates an up-to-date catalogue.
